A Day in the Life: Social Distancing with Jane N' The Jungle

by - June 10, 2020

Jane N' The Jungle had a show on March 13, 2020 - a show celebrating the Arizona alternative radio station KWSS - that had conflicting opinions on whether the show should cancel or not. We played the show and tried to give our best elbow taps to a room full of happy supporters of Arizona’s local music. The state lockdown wasn't too long after that, where all our spring shows and plans came to a halt.

I (lead singer Jordan White) actually was excited to have more free time to relax but was surprised to find ourselves extremely busy during quarantine. We recently put out our new single "Animal" on April 10, which we recorded in February at Pearl Sound Studios with Grammy Award-winning producer Chuck Alkazian. We also dropped the "Animal" music video on April 24 and have enjoyed connecting with our fans through our livestreams on Instagram and Facebook as well as our live episodes we've been releasing on our YouTube channel.

With the extra downtime we have been writing new music, taking longer walks, home workouts, enjoying lots of takeout, home cooked meals, pool time, Netflix and livestream concerts. We have been extremely fortunate to be able to continue to release new music as well as staying equally as busy with our real estate business here in Arizona. We miss performing live and look forward to the day we can get on the road and perform to a live audience.

While practicing social distancing, check out our music video for "Animal":
