Gather 'round the open fire for Chimneyside Chats - a monthly feature with holiday stories from our favorite artists. See what's in their stockings this year as they reminisce on Christmas memories, share their favorite recipe and more! Here's what Canadian artist Jacqueline Tucci had to say:

Hi! My name is Jacqueline and I’m a musician from Toronto.

Growing up, it was tradition that every year my great-grandma - who was from England - would bake traditional British foods for our Christmas dinner. Christmas pudding was one of these foods and a staple at the dessert table.

When my great-grandmother passed away, my family wanted to keep the tradition of these recipes alive so we began a new annual tradition of getting together for a day of baking to make all of the foods my great-grandma used to make. At the time, I was tasked with handling the Christmas pudding and have been making it every year since. This year, things will look a little different. The pandemic means that my family isn’t going to be able to get together to bake, so this will be my first year making this recipe solo! It isn’t the simplest recipe, but it is a labour of love. I hope you will try it with me.

Recipe from Nigella Christmas, with some alterations.
